2-year B.ED course Eligibility

Eligibility for a 2-year B.Ed program is to complete graduation from any discipline.

For a 2-year B.ED course, your minimum percentage of graduation should be 50 %.

if you belong to SC ST or PH- then your minimum percentage should be 45%.

B.Ed eligibility

AGE-

The age limit should be at least 21 years and maximum of 40 years. Although most of the age limit is not there to join this course, many colleges feel uncomfortable in giving admission to those above 40 years of age.

Some colleges have a maximum age limit of 35 years, such as Burdwan University West Bengal

4 years integrated B. ED course Eligibility-

The Ministry of Human Resources has put the Eligibility 10+2 for the 4-year Integrated B.Ed course.

The minimum percentage of 12th should be 50 for general category students, SC-ST and Physically Handicapped Students will also get 5% Relaxation.

Note-

There are some colleges which can demand more percentage than this or even less.

What is B. Ed’s qualification?

The minimum qualification for pursuing the B.Ed course is graduation. The subject from which you have done graduation, it does not matter as if you did a Bachelor of Arts(BA), or have done Bachelor of Science(B.Sc), or have done Engineering, you can take admission in B.Ed course.

According to the new rule made for B.Ed, you can take admission in Integrated B.Ed course even after 12th
Under which you can take admission in 4 years BA plus B.Ed, or B.Sc plus B.Ed, or B.Com plus B.Ed.

Does B. Ed become 4 years?

Yes, B.Ed is now 4 years, it has been confirmed by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India.
Under this, you can take admission for B.Ed Integrated Course which is 4 years after twelfth.

It has been decided to continue the B.Ed. 2-year course for students who have graduated for a few years.
But if you are a new student and are going to pass the twelfth, and you are interested in B.ed, then this 4-year B.Ed Plus integrated course will be better for you.

Can I do B. Ed after 12th?

Yes, you can do B.Ed course after 12th, for this you will have to take admission in B.Ed integrated course which is 4 years, under this, you will get both graduation plus B. Ed degree together.
