Mechanical engineering is one of the oldest and core branch of engineering. In the earlier phase of the evolution, engineering was in the form of mechanical only, later with innovations all other branches evolved. Mechanical engineering is the discipline of engineering that applies engineering, physics, mathematics, and materials science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain machines, safely and efficiently. Mechanical engineering uses the knowledge of mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, materials science, structural analysis, and electricity to design and produce meaningful products. Now a day’s use of CAD has been grown in mechanical engineering.
