Medical courses can be pursued by students who have completed 12th Science with PCB subjects. PCB subjects together make the ‘Biology group’. Biology group is also popularly known as ‘B’ group among students.
Apart from MBBS and BDS, there also exist numerous medical courses. Some such courses are – nursing, Ayurveda, homeopathy, Unani, science courses (B.Sc.), teacher training courses, paramedical courses, and other diploma courses. The healthcare industry aka the medical industry or healthcare economy is one of the largest and fastest-growing industries of India. Aspirants choosing Biology as the main subject in Class 11 and 12, start their rigorous preparation to pursue medical education from the beginning. However, NEET, AIIMS MBBS, and JIPMER MBBS are the most eminent entrance examination for admission to undergraduate medical courses after 12th across the country. In spite of that, apart from these predominant courses, there are plenty of medical courses after class 12 which can be pursued by Biology aspirants for an ideal career path. These courses have a vital role in the medical industry and have different professions.
The eligibility for all the following courses varies from course to course but one point is common that you should have studied Biology in your 12th for opting any of these courses for your higher education.
