Eligibility for AIIMS
The candidates who wish to apply for appearing in the entrance examination must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria. The candidate must fulfill the age limit criteria, educational qualification criteria, etc.
Age limit- Candidate should be 17 years as on 31st of December of the year of admission (2019)
Academic Qualification- Should have passed class 12th under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certification. Examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent Examination from a recognized Board. The candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination are also eligible to apply and appear in the entrance examination.
Subjects- The candidates should have passed class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as the subject.
Minimum Marks- The students should have obtained 60% marks in the qualifying examination. For the reserved category candidates (SC/ST/PWBD) there is a relaxation of 10% marks. Hence the candidates should have obtained minimum 50% in the qualifying examination.
Nationality- Indian, Overseas citizen of India (OCI) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) are eligible to apply for AIIMS MBBS 2019.
Mode of Application for AIIMS
The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2019 has been changed. The candidates are given the opportunity to register for AIIMS MBBS entrance examination, 06 months in advance. The candidates with the help of the Prospective Applicants Advances Registration (PAAR) . The candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam need to complete the application process before deadline. The registration is to be completed into two stages- Basic Registration, Generation of Code (For final Registration) and Final Registration (Payment of Fee & City choice). In basic registration, the candidates have to fill in their basic details and upload scanned images of their passport size photograph and signature. Once the basic registration is over, the details submitted by the candidate will be scrutinized. The candidates who will complete the basic registration part before the last date can only processed to the next step which is code generation for Final Registration i.e payment of fees and city choice for MBBS-2019 only for those whose Basic Registration is accepted is from Jan 29-feb-17,2019. In this part, the candidates will have to fill in their other necessary information and pay the requisite amount of the application fee.

Hall ticket / Admit card of AIIMS
The candidate who will successfully register for the entrance examination, will be issued the admit card. No candidate will get the printed copy of the AIIMS MBBS 2019 Admit card by post. Hence, to download the candidate need to login by entering details such as Candidate ID and Password. The admit card for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will consist of the personal details of the candidates like their name, category, PWD status, etc, and details of the entrance exam like date, timings, venue of the examination, etc.

Marking Scheme-For every correct answer, you will get 01 marks. There is also negative marking of 1/3 marks for an incorrect answer. Questions which are left unanswered or marked for review there will be zero marking.

Result and Counseling for AIIMS
The exam conducting body will publish the result for AIIMS MBBS 2019 on the official website. The candidates shall not be communicated on phone or other means. The result will be published online in the form of Raw Scores, Percentages, Percentiles or each of the four subjects and Total Percentile. An overall merit list/ ranking for AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be prepared by merging the Percentile score of the total marks for both shifts. In case of tie in the marks obtained in the entrance examination, the order of deciding higher rank/ merit would be Percentile in Biology, Percentile in Chemistry, Percentile in Physics, Percentile in General Knowledge, older by age. Those whose name will be included in the merit list will then be eligible to appear for the counseling.
AIIMS MBBS Counseling 2019 will begin from the first week of July by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS MBBS 2019 counseling is expected to be held in online mode only. The counseling of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted in four rounds including an open round. The regulatory body will conduct as additional spot round subject to the vacancy of seats. Candidates securing the minimum cut off percentage and equivalent marks will be eligible for counseling and admission process. Based on the merit position in the merit list, students will be called for AIIMS MBBS counseling 2019. Aspirants called for counseling from each category will be four times than the number of seats available.
