Bihar B. Ed common Entrance Test is conducted by the Bihar education department every year for admission to the 2 years B.ed course.
For Admission to the B. Ed 2 year course in most of the Bihar colleges, This entrance exam is a Must.
The entrance exam for the Bihar B. Ed course started in 2018. Since that time, the Bihar Common B.Ed entrance exam is conducted in the month of March every year.
This year, students will write the entrance exam for a total of 32500 B.Ed. seats.
Students doing good in this entrance exam will get admission to the B.Ed course in different government and Private colleges of Bihar.
Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga has been made the nodal university for the B.Ed CET entrance exam for the year 2020.
The whole process of examination and counseling will be done by this university.

Bihar B.ed Combined Entrance Test covers 32500 B.Ed seats from a total of 14 universities of Bihar.
There are a total of 327 colleges under these 14 universities, in which you must write this entrance exam for admission to the B.Ed 2-year course.

The highest number of colleges and seats comes under BR Ambedkar University Muzaffarpur. This university has 57 colleges and has 6050 seats.
While Pataliputra University is at number two, which has 6000 B. Ed seats in 54 colleges.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Ed CET Exam is very easy. Any student who has completed their graduation can apply for this entrance exam.
Eligibility Criteria are different for both regular and distance mode.
Regular Mode-
To apply in this exam, under Regular Mode, it is necessary to have a minimum 50% mark in graduation.
while if the student has done engineering, it is necessary to have a 55% mark in science and Maths subject.
Students who have completed their master’s degree, if they join for the B.Ed course, it is necessary to have at least 50% mark in the master’s degree.
Distance Mode-
For the Distance Mode B.Ed course, only students who are employed at a teacher’s post but are untrained can apply.
Following reservations are Available to the students belongs to the reserved category-

Apart from these reservations, students without a reservation will get admission to the remaining seats.
– Physically handicapped students have been given five percent reservation in Bihar B.Ed CET exam.
– Apart from this, under the serviceman quota, some seats are reserved for the sons and daughters of the employees of the Government of Bihar.

– If X servicemen want to do B.Ed course by writing this entrance exam then they have also been given some reservation.

Offline Only
Bihar B.Ed CET exam will be taken by offline mode only, meaning using pen and paper method.
During this 2-hour entrance exam, students will have to answer 120 multiple-choice questions.
Out of the four possible answers for every question, the correct answer has to be marked on the OMR sheet.
Each question will be of 1 mark.
